What is one of the best-kept secrets in the World?… Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us”.
He was aware of the emotional complexities of human beings and how it affected the human condition. Most of us think of the words Mental Illness when asked about Mental Health. Few people are aware the Mental Health continuum encompasses psychopathology or Mental Illness, neurosis, and stress reactivity. We all ought to care for our Mental Health. The lack of education and fear surrounding Mental Illness influence the myths, stigma and misunderstanding of Mental Health.
In “We’re all a Little Crazy” we will look at the various influences that mold professional and public views of mental health, treatments, and etiology. We will explore the various aspects of how our mental health impacts our daily life and the continuum of how Mental Health issues manifest. Come discover how what lies within us is revealed in how we live.
We will look at life; how our reactions to life experiences are all extensions of what lies within us. Many people dedicate time and energy trying to achieve physical and financial well-being yet they ignore their emotional health. The challenges we face day-to-day create physical, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional tensions. These all contribute to our mental health, which directs our life experience.
Even positive life events create tensions. Our level of emotional fitness determines how we respond to life events. These all impact our psychological well-being, which can result in physical, mental health or mental illness struggles. By tuning into “We’re all a Little Crazy” it will help you become wiser about mental health, options to address struggles and achieve emotional well-being. It will add benefits to your mental and physical health, relationships and life.
You will experience a balanced approach on how to understand, develop, and manage emotional health. You will gain valuable information necessary to discern what your reactions mean in relation to Mental Health. Emotional health allows us to manage difficult circumstances in life and relationships with integrity and confidence, express ourselves more clearly, and gain depth in choices. Emotional fitness increases satisfaction in daily life and allows us to be the person we want to be in this world.
